Dr. Ramgopal addresses all of my concerns with patience and compassion. He was very thorough and texted me what was discussed so I could follow through on my end.

Cheri listened while I explained my issues and symptoms. She did a brief exam and concluded that an endoscopy and a colonoscopy are beneficial to pinpointing my discomfort. I appreciate that she listened to me speak and answered my questions without feeling rushed.

Dr. Jeffrey Mathews was exceptional in our initial meeting. He was thorough ( reviewed every detail of my medical history record), thoughtful (listened attentively to our questions and concerns), professional (prescribed a procedure and explained his rationale as well as the details of the procedure), compassionate (reassured us about the expected outcome). He spent some time getting to know us and he also shared some personal background so that we felt like friends instead of merely being a patient. My wife and I were grateful that we had been referred to him. We would recommend Dr. Mathews without any hesitation.

Dr McMorrow has been one of the best Drs I have had over the years. He spends time explaining everything and is happy to go over scans in an understandable manner which most other Drs cannot do at his level. I am so fortunate to have him as my Dr.

I had very good experience with Dr. Riegel and team when I had a colonoscopy on 12/10/25. They sent me information way in advance so I was ready for the prep and the procedure. On the day of the procedure they actually got me in early. Nurse Sarah and nurse anesthetist Erika were both professional and very pleasant. Dr. Riegel checked in with me beforehand to make sure I was good and to answer any questions. It was over before I knew it, it couldn’t have gone better. This is my fourth colonoscopy with Gateway. Like before, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They patiently explain every step of the procedure and continually check for understanding, ready to field all questions. Dr. Ramgopal made me feel comfortable and confident regarding the procedure, and afterward he took his time in reviewing his findings. Getting a colonoscopy is not something I look forward to, much less four times, but Gateway has made it as pleasant an experience as humanly possible.

Getting the prep was easy, mailed instructions arrived in plenty of time, pre-proceedure phone call was helpful, nursing staff was very nice, I really liked the CRNA, follow-up call to check on my recovery was appreciated. I did call to get more detail on what I needed to stop eating five days in advance. I'm sorry, it didn't occur to me that my daily vitamin has iron in it which may have affected my prep. I'm a little sketchy about how to set-up a portal, but I'm sure we can figure it out. Thank you.

Absolutely recommend this doc. I was skeptical when it came to finding a doctor to replace mine and Dr Riegal is the perfect fit to replace my other doctor. He was able to answer all my questions of concern and I was able to make the right decision for me when it came to my treatment .

Dr. McMorrow is one of the few doctors I have visited recently that is will to spend time with you and answer all of you questions. He performed more of a physical on me than I got from my GP recently. When I asked him about any liver issues he said stay put and I will go look at your recent blood work. When he cam back he said all looked good, which make me very comfortable. When I told him I was concerned on weight gain he has recommend a dietitian to work with me.

Unlike all of my previous colonoscopies After I arrived home I had terrible discomfort around my rectum. 2 ibuprofen helped quite a bit but the pain was so bad I was unable to sit. I used prep h to help as well. After a nights sleep I feel much better today.

Dr. McMorrow is the ONLY Dr I have ever seen who walks in having already read your chart, remembers your history and knows what is bringing you in so he can immediately start addressing your concerns. I hadn’t been in in almost two years and he was still up to date with what we went over on my last visit and asked great follow up questions. And ON TIME! I did not feel like a number to him. Also, this may just be me, but I appreciate the old school use of pen and paper to take notes while making eye contact. He wasn’t sitting there staring at the screen and typing away. I’m sure he used a laptop after he walked out, but was sure nice to be looked and spoken to while questions being asked.
