I would give a 0 if possible. Our experience with Gateway was awful. I found the nurses to be very cold, curt & appeared to be “bothered”. And I am a nurse.
My husband had excruciating pain & was referred by his PCP for a colonoscopy post her seeing inflammation on an abdominal scan. He had his colonoscopy & afterwards, I met with Dr Jason Haas. He was arrogant & condescending. He informed me that my husband “must have had Diverticulitis at some point, but that it was no longer infectious.” I asked if he would please consider giving him an antibiotic because of his severe pain. He responded, "I can only tell you what I see & theres no longer an infection!"
So we left the Endoscopy Center & went straight to the ER, where they proceeded to do additional scans, bloodwork, urine, etc. SURPRISE! My husband did actually have active diverticulitis!!!! We spent lots of time & money that day to find an answer we should have gotten at the Colonoscopy Center. WOW! Thats all I can say!!! I just wonder what Dr Haas would say now. Extremely disappointing from start to finish!
